BLACK FRIDAY 2026 APPLIANCE GUIDE

Black Friday 2026 Appliance Deals: What to Check Before You Buy

By BlackFriday.us Editorial Team

Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27. If you are replacing a washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator or range, the most useful starting point is not the percentage-off headline. It is an appliance that fits your space and installation, with a delivered total you can compare against another offer for the same model. We have not verified retailer-specific Black Friday appliance discounts on this page.

Start with current home and kitchen product listings or browse retailer-specific Black Friday planning pages. Prices and available models change; confirm final terms at checkout.

1. Match the exact appliance model and configuration

Retailers may carry similar-looking model numbers with differences in capacity, finish, controls, dimensions, noise rating or included accessories. Save the full manufacturer model number from each listing and compare the official specifications, not only the product family. For a laundry pair, verify that the washer and dryer models match the advertised set and that required stacking hardware or pedestals are actually included.

Measure doorways, stairs and the installation location. Check clearance for doors, hoses, ventilation and servicing. A refrigerator's stated width alone does not tell you whether the door can swing fully. A range may require a specific electrical circuit or gas connection. Follow manufacturer installation specifications; use qualified installers for electrical, gas or plumbing work when required.

2. Compare the total price after delivery and installation

Major-appliance promotions often separate the item price from services. Before comparing two offers, list the charges for delivery, stairs or difficult access, installation, required connection parts, haul-away of the old appliance and any membership requirement. Verify whether the retailer provides these services at your delivery address.

Here is a hypothetical example, not a current advertisement:

Cost componentOffer AOffer B
Same appliance model$699$729
Delivery$49Included
Installation and required parts$70$45
Haul-away$30Included
Total before tax$848$774

In this example, Offer B is $74 cheaper before tax despite the higher listed appliance price. Use our delivered-cost comparison guide to calculate your own totals.

3. Check common model-specific purchase questions

  • Washers and dryers: compare capacity, dimensions, electrical or gas requirements, venting, stacking compatibility and applicable wash-cycle features. Make sure you understand what is included with the pair.
  • Refrigerators: check cabinet and opening measurements, door clearance, water-line requirements, ice-maker configuration and usable interior layout.
  • Dishwashers: verify the opening dimensions, installation kit, sound rating, rack flexibility and whether removal of the old unit is charged separately.
  • Ranges and cooktops: confirm fuel type, voltage or gas requirements, required ventilation, widths and any permitted installation conditions.
  • Small appliances: compare actual capacity, attachments, consumables, storage footprint and the exact model; a bundle is only valuable if the accessories are useful.

4. Check rebates, protection plans and return rules separately

An advertised rebate is not the same as a lower amount due at checkout. Record eligibility, minimum purchase, required registration, submission deadline and expected form of reimbursement. Do not assume that store promotions, manufacturer rebates and financing incentives can all be combined.

Read the return and damage-reporting rules before ordering, especially for installed appliances. Ask who handles freight damage, what happens if an appliance does not fit, and who provides warranty service in your area. Avoid treating an optional protection-plan price as part of a manufacturer's warranty.

5. Plan around November 27 without inventing a discount

Record the exact model, current delivered total and necessary services before the sale. When retailer promotions are announced, compare the same package with that baseline. Stock, delivery windows, model availability and retailer conditions may differ by location. A “Black Friday” label alone does not establish historical savings.

Final appliance buying checklist

  • Exact manufacturer model, finish and configuration match your requirements.
  • Measurements, access, utilities and installation requirements are confirmed.
  • All delivery, installation, accessories and removal costs are included in the comparison.
  • Rebate eligibility, stock, service area, warranty and return terms are acceptable.
  • The final cart total supports the purchase even without relying on an advertised percentage-off figure.
